Ana Paula
Ana Paula Valadão Bessa grew up in the church, the daughter of a pastor.  Music has always been a part of her life, from children's choir to a large vocal group that performed with an orchestra.  Growth as a musician and worshiper led her to begin expressing her worship through original songs.  After studying at a university in her native Brasil, Ana attended Christ For The Nations to find God's direction for her life.  After her time at CFNI, songs began to flow in a natural way, and Ana was led to return to Brasil to lead her church and her nation in worship.  "My dream was to bring everything I had experienced during those years to my country", she remembers.

Since that time, Ana has become one of the most influential worship leaders in the world, leading what was perhaps the largest worship event in history at Campos de Marti in Sao Paulo, with an audience estimated to number two million people.  Through the production of praise and worship music, children's programming in several languages, television programs, and in live events, the message that God placed in her heart as a little girl has been carried to the world.  She has shared the stage with worship artists from many nations, including Hillsong United, Chris Tomlin, Don Moen, Marcos Witt, Paul Wilbur, Louie Giglio, and many others.

Now, after 12 years, Ana is embarking on a new part of her life in God's plan.  Her husband, Gustavo, a pastor and teacher, has brought their family to the US to further his studies in the Global Leadership program at DBU, and Ana is devoting much of her time to raising their two sons, Isaque, 4, and Benjamin, 7 months.  They continue their involvement with the ministry in Brasil, traveling often for worship events, and Ana is now beginning to reach out to worshipers in English and Spanish, through forthcoming projects from Integrity Music.
